With this album, ENHYPEN continue to build their own universe, evolving both sonically and thematically. DESIRE : UNLEASH narrates a desire to turn “you” into a vampire, just like “me,” yet is shadowed by the inner fear of causing harm to the loved one. Overwhelmed by emotion, they break free from fate in search of a world where only their love exists. Lead single “Bad Desire (With or Without You)” permeates the core of the album’s narrative. Paradoxical lyrics like “A heaven without you must be like hell” and “A hell where I embrace you must be like heaven” reveal an overwhelming desire so deep, it dares defy all limits to last through eternity defying all taboos and limits.
